Royal Copenhagen Blue Line Fajance Tea Set by Grethe Meyer
This timeless, sophisticated tea set was designed by Architect and Designer Grethe Meyer in 1965. It is part of the Blue Line collection which Royal Copenhagen produced until 2011. Grethe Meyer designed homeware from her own Design Studio and inspired many female architects and designers. Bla Kant (Blue Line) was named after the fine blue line that runs along the edges of the light grey pieces. The design received the Danish Industrial Design Prize in 1965, and the V&A Museum hold Blue Line in it's collections. The set is Stoneware, it is in excellent condition. It consists of x6 cups and saucers, x1teapot, x1 milk jug / creamer and x1 sugar bowl.
