Nanna Ditzel 1960's Teak Dining Table
A rare minimalist teak extending dining table created by the celebrated designer Nanna Ditzel in 1963, and produced by the successful manufacturer SØren Willadsen MØbelfabrik. Nanna Ditzel was a leading figure in C20th Danish furniture design as well as many other product design fields. She worked both in Denmark and the UK receiving many accolades and awards. This table has a solid stylishly shaped teak edge and conical, subtly tapering legs. It includes a panel which can extend the table so that it can sit 8 - 10 people. The condition of this table is excellent. The top has been expertly refurbished and there are minimal signs of wear - one small indent on the surface which can only be seen if you look closely.
